I'm July, the photographer behind JS Designs. I'm a self-taught photographer born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, with a passion for finding beauty in places and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

I've always been drawn to the artistic side of photography. The way light falls across a subject, the shapes created by shadows, an unexpected perspective, or a small detail that tells a much bigger story. I don't just want to document what's in front of me. I want to create something that makes people stop and look a little longer.

My approach isn't defined by one subject or style. Whether I'm photographing couples, families, wildlife, rodeos, or the everyday world around me, I bring the same curiosity and creative perspective to each image. Sometimes that means embracing dramatic shadows or unconventional compositions. Other times, it's simply recognizing a moment exactly as it happens.

I believe photography can be both a way to preserve memories and a form of artistic expression. My goal is to bring those two things together, creating photographs that are meaningful to the people in them while standing on their own as pieces of art.

At the end of the day, I want my work to reflect not just what I saw, but how I saw it.
